Our Eco Friendly Fabrics
LENZING™ ECOVERO™
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ uses natural & renewable raw materials, which are derived from sustainable managed forests. Canopy Planet, the non-profit environmental organization, has claimed Lenzing to be one of the top global viscose producers due to its sustainable sources of wood and pulp.
RPET
Recycled polyethylene tetraphyte (rPET) is derived from recycled plastic. With nearly 35 billion plastic bottles thrown away a year in America, RPET is an innovative way of taking plastic that has already been created and making it in to something new. To put things in perspective, if all of the plastic bottles sold in 2018 were gathered in a pile, it would be higher than the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building.
Recycled knit yarns
Creating our sweaters with recycled knit yarns is a much more sustainable manufacturing process, as it produces no water waste or harmful chemical run-off. The production of recycled yarns requires less energy, resulting in a cleaner planet.
Let's Talk EcoVero.
A study conducted by The SIO research institute found that wood-based cellulosic fibers biodegrade in the ocean within a very short time period, making them a better alternative to fossil-based fibers. Researchers found that wood-based cellulosic fibers fully biodegraded within just 30 days, while the fossil-based fibers were said to be practically unchanged after more than 200 days. Certificates from the certification organization, TÜV Austria show that Lenzing fibers rapidly biodegrade in all test environments (soil, industrial composting, home composting, fresh water and marine water) within the time frames set by the applicable standards.

There are so many decisions, we as women, have to make to create healthy habits for ourselves, our families and our planet. We are passionate about sustainability and creating meaningful products that are environmentally conscientious.
In an effort to be kinder to our planet, we're taking steps to implement more environmentally-friendly fabrics that use recycled materials. While we realize this is only a small change, every little step counts and we are proud to join a movement that really matters to us (and to our customers). Our hope is to reduce landfill waste, increase awareness, and be more environmentally responsible.
